Beautiful Blues
I really love simple outfits with funky accents that make a classic outfit a little bit sexy and a little bit edgy, which Thakoon is a master at doing! This dress is clean cut yet gives off the 'do not mess with the best' vibe.

Artistic Advertising
Flipping through magazines, I sear there are more advertisements showing models in awkward poses wearing the latest designer duds than actual articles! I can only take so many slouched, long-legged beauties clad in mini dresses or pant suits. Diane von Furstenberg has heard my cries! Her newest ad campaign, featuring Natalia Vodianova, were created by Francois-Marie Banier and I am delighted! Colorful and artistic, the advertisements show us the creativity behind DVF, and don't have to show off the clothes we already know will be fabulous!
Step Into Sunshine
I've always looked for a long, flowy summer dress that wouldn't engulf me and make me look like an elephant, but one that would hug my body and trail behind me. When browsing the Roberto Cavalli spring 08 collection, I found just that! The silhouette, the fabric, the flower on the side, and the necklaces on the model all make this a wonderful warm-weather dress!

Red and Rad
My friends and I spent a long weekend in D.C., where we spent a great deal of time at Urban Outfitters. One of our purchases? Fun Ray Ban look-a-likes in a variety of colors - I got red ones, and my friends purchased green, purple, pink, yellow... all of the colors of the rainbow! Walking down the streets we got a lot of jealous stares and perplexed glances, but the truth about the whole situation is that we looked awesome! Ever since we purchased these glasses we've been seeing them pop up on lots of faces, and celebrities are catching onto the trend... and yes, we are going to take credit for it.
Ruffles & Rock
Another Burberry outfit I adore! The intricacy of the ruffles immediately grabbed my attention, and I like how the detailing does not distract from the outfit, but adds to the fabulous ensemble.

I love this Burberry dress! I could imagine myself wearing it to a formal dance or dinner out in a large city with lots of fashionable people... say, London?
Bohemian Beauty
My friend Heather would LOVE this Etro ensemble. Hippie-esque and casual scarves like the one pictured add a relaxed yet chic feel to any outfit. The breezy dress is enhanced by the fun tassels on the front, and gives an air of sophistication to bohemian garb. Also, the dress does not expand to make one the size of the Pacific - always a plus. Etro has made the laid back yet chic style one to love!
Droplets of Heaven
The simplicity of this Narcisco Rodriguez dress yet the impact of the intricate detailing really drew me in. Feminine and graceful, I love how the gold on the top looks as if it were part of the model's skin, and how the rest of the dress billows out but fits one's body - it does not make one look as if they were about to be swept away.
Mile High Club
It's spring. The shirts get tighter, the skirts get shorter, and the shoes get higher. These Calvin Klein wedges really bring heigh to an all new level. With five inches of plastic, you'll be lucky if you don't sprain your ankle.

Who doesn't love affordable clothing that makes you look great? This Michael Stars shirt (available in an array of colors) flatters any body shape and can be dressed up with jewelry, skinny jeans and flats, or be relaxed with sweats.
Flower Power
Ever have those days when you've arrived home late from picking up the dog from the groomer, or getting your nails done, and realize that you have to be at a party in less than twenty minutes? I'm sure we all have. Well, now here's a solution to that problem: this Missoni frock. Short enough to show off one's legs, but long enough to be appropriate when visiting grandma, this dress is great whether going to a party, the beach, or school.
Pastel Princess
This color palette reminds me of Easter - complete with pastel malted milk ball eggs; bunny, chick and duck sweet tarts; and peeps. Now my sweet tooth is kicking in! This spring, Louis Vuitton concocted a decadent collection that tingles the taste buds and delights the eyes. Now if only my Easter celebrations were this extravagant...
Save a Horse, Ride a Cowgirl
This is not what I would expect when thinking about Ralph Lauren's spring line. I usually think florals (which he had), preppy bathing suits and blazers (check), a trend setting handbag (all there), but a form fitting, bright colored, pony covered dress complete with tie and newsboy cap was not an item I expected to see! However, I am liking the change! The colors are definitely spring, and the shape brings an edgier touch to the "My Fair Lady"-styled collection.
Kiss from a Rose
Sequins + nude color + rose embellishments + unique silhouette + cute shoes = this Chanel dress that is perfect for going to an opening of a gallery, movie, restaurant, or to a cocktail party!
Loving Leather
I saw the robin egg blue version of this bag while reading a magazine, and it immediately caught my eye!! The texture, shape and size all make it a perfect bag whether out shopping, on vacation, to work... the list goes on and on!

Beowulf Fashions
Even a bizarre fashion show (Alexander McQueen) can have its highlights. Maybe not highlights on practicality, but definitely on originality! The butterfly head dress, moth facial attachments and dresses, rainbow/tie-dye Native American inspired dress, and the hawk on a gown are only some of the items that attracted so many eyes. The dresses shown, however strange the Beowulf masks are, certainly match well! I love the color combination black and pink, and I enjoy how the outfits are the same just reversed colors. Alexander McQueen always keeps audiences guessing and wondering, and this spring line was no exception!

Fly Away Home?
So it seems Alexander McQueen was having a lot of fun creating his spring '08 line... using birds as decorative pieces, along with a hat made out of butterflies and lots of other funky attachments, his collection was anything but boring. Quite unique, in fact.

I am in love with this J.Mendel dress. The embroidery, the tassels, the sleeves, the bodice... oh my goodness I am in heaven! Not only does this dress fit the right places, but it is perfect for a night-out, a cocktail party dancing... anything! It is perfection!!!
Bedazzled
Alright, it may be a little scandalous and a little see-through, but who can resist a dress with so many cool and different shapes? It keeps people guessing, and keeps the eyes constantly moving so no one notices that the model's underwear are showing! D&G.

How does an ordinary outfit transform itself to a stunning one? A big, chunky red necklace! The necklace on this Peter Som outfit takes it to a whole other level... one that I quite like!
Tantalizing Turquoise
What color defines Caribbean waters? What color grabs one's eye without squinting? And one color goes perfectly with coral? Oh, that is turquoise! Bright and uplifting, turquoise, in my opinion, can turn even an ordinary dress to a spectacular one! Unlike yellow, orange or red, which are great colors but only fit certain skin tones, I have yet to see someone who does not look good in a shade of turquoise. So rejoice and enjoy! Versace.
Beach Attire
I am incredibly excited for sun, as you may be able to tell by the numerous yellow items I have been writing about, as well as my excessive use of exclamation marks when I just mention the word. This Stella McCartney dress is perfect for a warm summer/spring day!! It would look great with a bathing suit underneath for the beach, funky jewelry for a barbecue/beach party, or how is when walking down the streets. Casual and chic, this outfit is a winner!
Easy, Breezy, Beautiful
I love how free flowing this dress is! It instantly reminds me of the Hamptons and the funky yet designer beach dresses people wear there. Diane von Furstenberg knows how to create a fashionable dress that will actually be worn, which she models here.
Paint by Number
One of my greatest flaws? I can't paint. No matter how many classes I take to paint like Monet, or however paint-by-numbers I receive, for some reason the paint always ends up on my clothes and the canvas looks like a jumbled mess. "Is that a pear?" my mother used to say. "No... it's actually a beach scene" "ooh yes I see it now!" were our common conversations, but this spring, I am no longer ashamed of my talentless self. As Dolce & Gabbana points out, paint is sexy! This taffeta dress, along with paint smears, is appealing to the eye and makes one feel like a ballerina! Je l'adore!
Uptown Girl
This waist line is becoming increasingly popular this spring. I love the texture and pattern of this Dolce & Gabbana skirt, and the ruffled collar on the blouse makes it an ideal outfit for a stylish city, working girl!
Nothing Rhymes with Orange...
So this dress is awesome? Yes. No questions asked. This orange dress by Lanvin sparkles and shines all the way into my heart! The ruffled top, the length, the high shoes and funky sparkly pattern make it a coveted piece on my spring-to-have list.

Does this Fendi outfit look like spring? Yes it does!!! The breezy, ruffled top and flowing skirt with the cinched waist make this a sophisticated beach look, perfect for the warmer weather. Who's excited???!!

Under the Sea
When I saw this dress I imagined a sea anemone dancing around on coral, which is a beautiful thought, and reminds me of March break! Anyhow, although the dress is a tad impractical to wear, but the art in making his sea-like creation amazes me. Zac Posen.
Gorgeous Gowns
Not only is the color of this dress to die for, the shape fits the body like a glove, and accents the best parts of it - the waist, the slim part of one's hips, the chest and collar bone! Zac Posen is my new idol.... maybe even God!
Lemon Meringue Pie
Yellow is my new favorite color. Not that it looks good with my skin tone, but I have a new obsession with it. It's so happy and bright that it quickly gets rid of all these winter woes! This dress not only is a happy color, but look at the fit! The shape! Marvelous! Just marvelous! Zac Posen has done it again!
Beautiful in the Ballroom
I have a serious weakness for Zac Posen. Every item created has my knees falter... they are all so gorgeous!! This gown looks like something a goddess would wear, so I am planning on wearing it to heaven.
High Fashioned Earth Child
This dress is fabulous. It makes me happy just to look at it! Clean and simple, yet with a touch of something extra that pulls together the whole piece - the decorative wheat. So beautiful!!!! Zac Posen.
Formal Flair
Just look at the money signs on the shoes! Those shoes make the outfit not just another gray dress hanging in one's winter closet, but a fashionable gray dress with attitude. I also really like the "V" cutout on the bodice. It adds a nice, defining touch to an otherwise shapeless dress. Yves Saint Laurent.
Star Spangled
I really like this dress! The silhouette of the dress seems natural and giving, but also the star pattern makes the dress a fun, flirty piece for spring. Yves Saint Laurent.
Pinkmarine
Blumarine's spring '08 line took me back to the movies I would see of the chic women of the '80s and '90s. Although the clothing in those time periods is not my favorite, I am a fan of tight dresses, short coats, high shoes and big belts, which Blumarine has put together in a unique and colorful way.
Array of Color
Tight, short dresses can only be pulled off on some, but what really caught my eye about this piece was the color. Spring means no more gray and bland colors, but time for some popping pieces! Bluemarine.
Tidal Wave
The flowing delicacy of Prada's '08 line mixes with the defined lines of the tights in a surprisingly appealing way. The tights give the breezy dress form, and together they create a unique ensemble.
Asian Invasion
The line "Asian Invasion" in Janet Jackson's new song, Feedback, perfectly describes Prada's spring '08 line. WIth Asian and water influences, the delicate clothes look comfortable and inviting.

Marchesa Mania
I am not lying when I say every single outfit on the Marchesa spring 2008 runway gave me shivers... pretty much I was shaking the whole time. Every item was so exquisite, each one with so much detail and beauty, that it was a feast for the eyes. Using different color palettes - from red to light blue to black - it was exceptional. This dress reminded me of a Spanish queen, and since I have always dreamt of being royalty, this is a favorite of mine. Look at the embroidery and the flowing ruffles! Extraordinary.
